ABOUT
One crew, three divisions
Alton Baxter Construction is a new Hill Country general contractor built on decades of field time — steel buildings, custom homes, remodels, and small commercial. One license, one superintendent, one number.
The company is new. The work is not. The people running jobs have been pouring slabs, erecting red-iron, and finishing interiors in this part of Texas for a long time — now under one name, with one way of reporting.
We took the work we already knew how to do well and put a clean front on it: cost ranges on the site, a line-item proposal before we break ground, and a single point of contact from the site walk to closeout.
Say the number early
If the parcel or the finish level is going to blow the budget, you'll hear it on the first walk — not after you've fallen in love with a plan.
Write it down
Allowances name real products. Change orders are priced before work starts. Nothing gets built off a hallway conversation.
Same crew, same standards
Steel, stick-built, or a tenant finish — the same superintendent owns the job. You don't get handed off to a different company mid-build.
DIVISIONS
Three ways in
Steel buildings & barndominiums
Red-iron and post-frame shells, shops, equipment cover, and fully finished barndos. We handle engineering, slab, erection, and interior finish-out as one contract.
DIVISION 02Residential construction & remodel
New custom homes on your lot, additions, and whole-home remodels. Plans, permits, and trades coordinated in-house so you get one schedule and one number.
DIVISION 03Commercial
Ground-up retail and office, light industrial, and tenant build-outs. Bid or negotiated, with the reporting cadence lenders and partners expect.
